Job Summary
Cashier role at BrandActiv/IBL Complex 2, Riche Terre and Port Louis in Mauritius. Responsibilities include processing cash, card, and electronic payments; issuing receipts, refunds, and change; daily cash balancing; providing courteous customer service; maintaining counter cleanliness and order; ensuring compliance with company policies; assisting in money banking processes. Requires Higher School Certificate or equivalent, prior cashier experience (preferably FMCG/retail), strong numeracy, good communication, ERP familiarity, MS Office proficiency, and ability to work flexible hours including weekends/public holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in the FMCG or retail sector
- Basic numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Well versed with ERP systems and proficient in the MS Office package
- High degree of organizational skill, accuracy and confidentiality
- Honest, reliable, and able to work under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
