Job Summary
Cashier I at Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest in Post Falls, ID handles register operations, provides outstanding customer service, and performs merchandise stocking and store floor duties. Responsibilities include opening tasks such as cleaning the cash wrap, stocking supplies, operating the POS system, processing payments, providing receipts, counting down the register, and reconciling transactions. Additional duties involve pulling/stocking merchandise, assisting at adjacent work stations, ensuring security of deposits, answering phones, assisting with customer service, managing dressing rooms, and adhering to store policies. Part-time positions may be available with some benefits. Requires successful completion of Cashier Training and passing a background check.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass background check
- Must successfully complete Cashier Training
- Work collaboratively with Workforce and Family Services to provide participant services
- Follow all policies, procedures, and directives of Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest assuring safety of personnel or property
- Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Maintain agency confidentiality
- Comply with all health, safety, and fire standards and all local, state, and federal regulations (WISHA & OSHA)
