Job Summary
Assist customers with outstanding service, operate electronic cash registers, and balance daily drawers while performing basic math. Clean dining areas, wash dishes, and scrape/rinse items in the dishwasher. Prepare and serve food, take food temperatures, and unload supplies from trucks. Support party rentals by checking guests in and setting up supplies. Alert management immediately regarding suspicious individuals, intoxicated patrons, or cash drawer adjustments. Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance is necessary
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills and be a team player
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
- Ability to lift, pull, push and/or move heavy items occasionally
- The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- The employee is exposed to cleaning chemicals that must be handled with extreme caution
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in outside weather conditions and can be exposed to hot, wet, and humid conditions
- Will be required to stand or sit for extended periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer prior experience operating a cash register and balancing a cash drawer
- One year of customer service experience preferred
