Job Summary
Greet customers professionally, process cash, credit, and debit transactions, and operate the register for fuel and in-store purchases. Promote the Gas N Wash rewards program, answer inquiries, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area. Stock shelves and coolers, monitor inventory levels, and assist with opening and closing duties while adhering to company policies and safety procedures. This role requires standing for the entire shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in intermittent temperatures. A high school diploma and previous customer service experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to frequently lift between 5 to 20 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repeated bending, kneeling, twisting and overhead reaching
- Ability to work in intermittent temperature, e.g., outside by the pumps and in the cooler
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and money-handling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, honest, and team-oriented
