Job Summary
Cashier role at Zaxbys involves delivering friendly, enthusiastic service as the first point of contact, accurately taking and entering orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean dining and guest areas. Responsibilities include greeting guests, explaining menu items, promoting current promotions, processing guest transactions through the point-of-sale system, stocking supplies, assisting with kitchen and back-of-house tasks as needed, and upholding safety and sanitation standards while supporting brand representation and providing opportunities for training and advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to communicate effectively (speaking and writing)
- Ability to work in indoor/outdoor environment with varying temperatures
- Compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to operate POS and cash handling procedures
- Willingness to learn and complete training requirements
