Job Summary
Check out customer merchandise through POS registers and perform various customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner while handling merchandise with care. Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service by remaining product knowledgeable, aware of advertised sales, and assisting customers in making buying decisions through identifying needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. Stocks and straightens shelves and pegs in the immediate area when not directly ringing up product. Performs these duties as a full-time employee with a high school education or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
- Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience
