Job Summary
Manage register operations and computerized order entry systems while preparing cash reports, reconciling funds, and securely collecting charge slips. Maintain efficient customer flow and ensure proper portion controls, beverage station, and take-out equipment maintenance and cleaning. Model essential service behaviors with patients, staff, and visitors through open, compassionate communication while adhering to universal precautions and foodborne illness prevention standards. Work rotating shifts, cross-train in varied positions, and participate in monthly departmental meetings and in-services. Follow all Orlando Health policies, ADA, and FMLA standards, and report concerns or suggest ideas to exceed patient satisfaction goals.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
- 180 days previous cash handling experience required
