Cashier

Operate the cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer purchases while processing transactions for cash, checks, gift cards, and credit/debit cards. Greet customers with a smile, engage them throughout the entire transaction, and extend offers for the Extended Protection Policy on qualifying items. Maintain brand standards at the front end area, promote the customer loyalty program, and follow policies to reduce shrink. Requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays, and knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
