Job Summary
Engage guests with friendly conversations and eye contact while scanning items, processing sales, and handling monetary transactions. Bag products thoughtfully and maintain a neat, well-stocked register station. Relay guest requests to leadership and ensure quality standards are met during peak times at 10 am and 5 pm. Perform other duties as needed to support the team and maintain regular, timely attendance. Requires standing for long periods, lifting merchandise, and operating register equipment. Flexible part-time or full-time schedule available including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand in place for long periods of time
- Ability to walk in the store
- Ability to bend, stoop and kneel regularly
- Fine finger and broad manual dexterity
- Eye-hand-foot coordination
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store
- Ability to lift
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
- Ability to engage with guests and provide outstanding retail sales and service
- Ability to process information and merchandise transactions and handle cash and media at registers
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with both customers and retail associate team members
- Ability to read, count, and write accurately to ensure precise transactions
- Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
