Job Summary
Cashier for Farm Boy in Barrie, ON: deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service; greet and assist customers; process purchases including scanning items and handling tenders; apply product knowledge to answer questions; learn product codes; balance tills and maintain payment accuracy; assist with front-of-store operations and phone inquiries; support store safety, cleanliness, and alcohol sales where applicable (Smart Serve). Lift, stand for periods, and work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; bilingual French is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Smart Serve certification or willingness to obtain (for locations selling alcohol)
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset
- Retail or customer service experience a plus
- Ages 18+ for alcohol locations
