Job Summary
Craft quality customer experiences by providing efficient, effective service in the checkout lane. Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customers and create welcoming, memorable interactions. Use Meijer systems to complete transactions efficiently and accurately while handling cash and payments responsibly. Communicate clearly and confidently to answer customer questions and help resolve concerns with care. Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly. This role requires standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks like lifting and bending. Weekly pay and scheduling flexibility are available for this evening and weekend position.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- You enjoy working with people and providing great service
- You're comfortable learning and using technology
- You listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized
- You're dependable, detail‐oriented, and eager to help
- You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required
