Job Summary
Join SCHEELS as a Cashier to provide exceptional customer service while engaging with customers during transactions. Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting the Scheels Visa Rewards card, balancing cash drawers, and maintaining a clean working area. Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills, basic math abilities, and a desire to cultivate customer relationships. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with some cashiering experience. This part-time role offers starting compensation at $15 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform basic math; compute rate, ratio and percent
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing work environment
- Ability to apply concepts of basic math, grammar, punctuation and spelling
Desired Qualifications
- Customer Service experience
- Cashiering experience 1-3 months
- Knowledge of sports and fitness
