Job Summary
Greet customers promptly and courteously while operating the point-of-sale system for cash, credit, and debit transactions. Handle cash responsibly by making change and balancing the drawer, and verify age requirements for tobacco, alcohol, or lottery sales. Maintain a clean, well-stocked environment by stocking shelves, coolers, and displays, and monitor inventory levels to report low or out-of-stock items. Follow all store policies, safety procedures, and loss-prevention guidelines while assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned. Work in a fast-paced retail environment, potentially including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–40 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
