Job Summary
Our cashiers are the face of the company, delivering exceptional customer experiences across in-person, drive-thru, phone, and order-ahead interactions. The role involves greeting guests, taking orders, preparing and filling drinks, accepting payments, assembling orders, and maintaining a clean lobby and dining area. Responsibilities include menu knowledge, accurate cash handling, balancing the cash drawer, applying discounts, portion control, food preparation, stocking, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards. The position requires excellent customer service, communication, teamwork, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the flexibility to handle varying shifts. This is a safety-sensitive hourly role with opportunities for advancement within Fresquez Companies across multiple locations, with benefits such as health coverage, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, meal discounts, PTO, and internal growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one-year prep and/or cooking experience
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant food safety and sanitation laws, principles, procedures
- Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment drug screening
- Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check
- Satisfactory background check in accordance with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) rules
