Job Summary
Process customer payments accurately and efficiently while adhering to all cash handling policies, including checks, debit cards, and credit cards. Assist customers with purchases by providing information on product availability, use, and pricing while greeting them in a polite, friendly, and professional manner. Answer customer questions regarding payment transactions and resolve any issues. Ensure pharmacy over-the-counter and supply shelves are stocked and organized, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Follow all pharmacy regulations and laws, and stay updated on new products and services. Type at 40 words per minute and prioritize activities effectively. High school graduate with preferred business and medical training.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Must be able to type 40 words per minute
- Must have the ability to apply appropriate rules of grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Knowledge of computers
- Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must possess the ability to prioritize activities, organize work and problem solve
