Job Summary
Cashier/Clerk handles cash transactions on a cash register, operates the checkstand belt, processes EBT/coupons/gift certificates, balances the register, stocks shelves, performs cleaning duties, collects shopping carts, and assists customers. Requires basic arithmetic and ability to read/write, lifts up to 30 lbs, and works in a refrigerated environment. Pre-employment drug screen required; shifts typically up to 8 hours; travel to and from work included. Also responsibilities include customer communication, phone use, intercom operation, and adherence to store policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
