Job Summary
Greet customers entering or calling into the restaurant and place in-person and phone orders, upselling menu items and sauces while verifying age for alcohol purchases. Accurately process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions, double-checking all orders for presentable wings before delivery, and answer customer queries with menu recommendations. Balance the register at shift end, maintain a clean and stocked front-of-house area, and handle complaints by escalating issues beyond scope to management. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, uphold professional appearance standards, and ensure orders are read within company quote times.
Required Qualifications
- Computer literate and comfortable using computerized register (POS) systems
- Possess great cash handling skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal and people skills
- Must have integrity, honesty and accountability
- Cashier and restaurant experience a plus
