Job Summary
Cashier at Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s greets customers, processes payments, uses POS and SAP systems to complete transactions following policies, handles debit/credit/gift cards/cash, answers customer issues with good judgment, assists asset protection, performs opening/closing duties, and supports store operations including stocking and assisting in other areas as needed.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations
- Ability to use good judgment and logic
- Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle
- Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s specific products is an asset
