Job Summary
Provide attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service by answering customer questions, making recommendations through suggestive selling, and delivering a great customer experience. Assist the Food Service Manager in maintaining a neat, clean, and visually appealing department by preparing products including salads, sandwiches, chicken, pizza, pasta, and entrees according to recipe and company standards. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils, and equipment while keeping floors clear of debris and spills. Stock, clean, straighten, and rotate products to ensure proper shelf and display conditions. Perform all duties in accordance with Local, State, and Federal regulations regarding the Food Service operation.
Required Qualifications
- Read, write and speak the English language
- Perform basic math
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences
- Ability to tolerate dust and chemical agents during routine housekeeping duties
