Job Summary
Operate cash registers and perform checkout procedures in a fast, efficient, and accurate manner while maintaining knowledge of current produce codes and product locations. Follow ID policies on checks, tobacco, and alcohol, and implement security and cash drawer accounting procedures as directed by supervisors. Bag guest purchases according to company procedures and possess knowledge of product locations throughout the store. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum age of 16 years (18 required for tobacco/alcohol sales). Tobacco and alcohol certification is preferred, along with cash handling experience and basic math skills.
Required Qualifications
- Weekend shifts (Sundays as applicable)
- Minimum age: 16 years of age
- 18 Years of age required to sell tobacco products and/or alcohol
- Tobacco and Alcohol certified (preferred - willing to train)
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Basic math skills, including using units of money, weight, measurement, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
Desired Qualifications
- Tobacco and Alcohol certified (preferred - willing to train)
- Cash handling experience preferred
