Job Summary
Greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner while providing accurate, fast, and courteous checkout. Manage the service lane according to standards, properly record sales through the scanning system, and recognize all forms of tender. Stock front-end products, restock supplies efficiently, and put up discarded or returned merchandise. Return carts to the corral, keep the work area clean and hazard-free, and report faulty equipment. Assist in training new cashiers and escalate customer concerns to management with a positive attitude. Notify management of theft, shoplifting, or policy violations.
Required Qualifications
- Meet legal and company policy age requirements to perform job functions.
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
