Job Summary
Greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner while managing the service lane according to established standards. Operate cashiering equipment accurately to record sales, recognize all tender forms, and provide correct change. Listen to customer concerns and escalate them to management with a positive attitude. Stock front-end products, restock supply items efficiently, and put up discarded or returned merchandise. Return carts to the corral, keep the work area clean and hazard-free, and report faulty equipment or theft incidents to management. Assist in training new cashiers and inform customers of specials and promotions as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Meet legal and company policy age requirements to perform job functions.
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
