Job Summary
Greet, assist, and thank customers while managing the service lane to ensure accurate, fast, and courteous checkouts. Operate scanning equipment efficiently to record sales, recognize tender forms, and provide correct change. Stock front-end products, restock supplies to eliminate waste, and put up discarded or returned merchandise. Train new cashiers, maintain a clean work area free of hazards, and report faulty equipment or policy violations to management. Escalate customer concerns with a positive attitude and inform patrons of specials and promotions as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Meet legal and company policy age requirements to perform job functions.
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
