Job Summary
Greet guests warmly while accurately using the POS system to serve high-volume food and beverage orders in concessions stands. Handle cash transactions, report tips, and stock product at cashier stations and display baskets. Execute station setup and breakdown, manage inventory control, and maintain proper sanitation and food safety standards. Navigate the arena to assist guests, ensure responsible alcohol service, and support other Food & Beverage departments as needed. This part-time, event-based role at the Great Park Ice and Sports Complex requires fluctuating hours based on the arena schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be 18 years of age, hold E-Food Handlers and TIPS certifications, and possess basic math and cash handling experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum 18 years of age
- Previous customer service and cash handling experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment in which guest satisfaction is always the goal
- Works well with others; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors
- Basic math and cash handling experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail and proven customer service skills
- Exceptional organization and prioritization is a must
- Must be able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
- Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position, including bending or lifting up to 50lbs and standing and/or walking for extended periods of time
- Flexible schedule – candidates must have the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
