Job Summary
Cashier handles transactions at Aramark location serving Alabama A&M University, operates POS, greets customers, balances cash, processes deposits, adheres to Aramark’s cash handling policies, and maintains a clean, stocked, and safe work environment. Duties include operating a register, handling cash and credit card transactions, counting and balancing cash drawer, opening/closing procedures, providing excellent customer service, and applying location-specific trainings (Food Handler and Alcohol Service).
Required Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Basic math & counting skills required
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
- Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location
