Job Summary
Greet every customer and provide personalized assistance to ensure a positive in-store experience. Perform all cash register procedures accurately and efficiently to maximize sales while maintaining precise inventory records. Cultivate strong customer relationships through suggestive selling and demonstrate sound judgment when working under pressure. Maintain knowledge of current and advertised store products to support team members and store management. Work under regular store conditions, occasionally handling heat, dust, chemicals, and lifting up to 100lbs using hand tools.
Required Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to complete fundamental cashiering training course
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- General knowledge and experience with computer systems and two-way radios
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 60lbs of material, in addition to lifting and maneuvering up to 100lbs. using a hand truck, on occasion
Desired Qualifications
- Customer Service, Retail, and Cash Handling experience preferred
