Job Summary
Assist customers in selecting and purchasing items, answer store telephone inquiries, and respond to questions regarding donations. Operate and maintain cash registers by collecting monies, counting change, preparing receipts, balancing drawers, and printing routine print-outs. Prepare and deliver bank deposits while maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and security of the cash register area and merchandise displays. Clean display racks, sweep floors, mop surfaces, and clean windows and mirrors to uphold overall store standards.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- experience working in a retail store
