Job Summary
Cashier (60283) at Homeland / Homeland Foods: Greet customers, assist and ring up purchases quickly and accurately using an electronic cash register, scanner, and scale; ensure accurate product handling and safety; bag purchases efficiently; comply with store procedures for coupons, WIC, and electronic payments; maintain cleanliness of the register area; follow safety rules and assist supervisors as needed; available for part-time, hourly work in a fast-paced retail environment. Skills include customer service, basic math, cash handling, POS operations, point-of-sale procedures, and adherence to store policies. The role reports to Front-End or Store Manager and operates in Sand Springs, OK.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior Experience in related field or industry
- Basic Mathematics (Add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Standing capability
- Move a maximum of 40 lbs. from 6 inches to 48 inches.
- Move a maximum of 40 lbs. up to 15 feet.
- Bend and twist at the waist while cleaning, moving/removing merchandise and loading/unloading merchandise.
