Job Summary
Conduct cash deposits, fulfill change requests, and maintain accurate logs of client transactions using handheld scanners and teller software. Safely operate cash processing equipment, including coin sorters and counters, while preparing currency and coin orders. Ensure precise counting and tracking of all vault assets and negotiables, maintaining a clean and orderly processing area. Notify supervisors immediately of any delays, issues, or concerns. Maintain continuous standing or sitting hours while lifting up to 50 pounds. Uphold trustworthiness and integrity in handling confidential records and customer interactions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Accuracy and good math skills
- Ability to use a computer and other cash processing equipment
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds and sometimes a team lift of around 50 pounds
- Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years of teller, vault teller, cage cashier, lead cashier, or equivalent cash handling experience
