Cash Vault Teller

Job Summary
Process cash deposits, fulfill change requests, and maintain accurate logs of client transactions using handheld scanners and teller software. Safely operate cash processing equipment, prepare currency and coin orders, and ensure precise counting and tracking of all vault assets and negotiables. Maintain a clean processing area, uphold professional communications with co-workers and management, and promptly notify supervisors of any delays or issues. Requires standing or sitting for continuous hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using a PC with various peripherals. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Accuracy and good math skills
- Ability to use a computer and other cash processing equipment
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds and sometimes a team lift of around 50 pounds
- Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain continuous hours of standing or sitting
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years of teller, vault teller, cage cashier, lead cashier, or equivalent cash handling experience
