Job Summary
Verify, process, and pay out currency by operating complex high-speed counting equipment and proprietary accounting software. Ensure safe, accurate, and timely circulation of currency inventory to meet depository institution and public citizen needs during normal operations and natural disasters. Perform routine operational tasks with specific instructions while maintaining quality and productivity standards under moderate supervision. Communicate information requiring explanation or interpretation within defined operational boundaries. First shift hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30/3:00 PM EST. W2 candidates preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Valid driver's license or certification to operate industrial truck (if required)
- Ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds
- Ability to push and pull up to one hundred pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods while operating equipment
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and accuracy
- Dependable with minimal work schedule flexibility
- Zero to 3+ years of relevant work experience in cash operations, currency processing, treasury, or related financial operations
- Basic knowledge of cash operations and the prescribed operating procedures, safety, security, and compliance and/or production standards and controls
- Some experience operating high-speed processing equipment and/or paying and receiving currency and coin
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office along with other various online applications as needed for the role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and team collaboration
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to push and pull 100 lbs
- Valid driver's license
- Certification to operate industrial truck (if required)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and accuracy
- Dependable with minimal work schedule flexibility
- Ability to work first shift (6:00 AM to 2:30/3:00 PM EST)
- Ability to work during natural disasters or emergency situations
- Ability to respond during natural disasters or emergency situations
- Ability to travel including overnight stays
