Job Summary
Craft quality customer experiences by providing efficient, effective service in the checkout lane. Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customers, while using Meijer systems to complete transactions efficiently and accurately. Handle cash and payments responsibly, communicate clearly with friendly eye contact, and answer customer questions to resolve concerns with care. Build trust and connection that encourages customers to return, and support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly. This role requires 4am availability and includes weekly pay, paid parental leave, and a team member discount.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- You enjoy working with people and providing great service
- You're comfortable learning and using technology
- You listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized
- You're dependable, detail‐oriented, and eager to help
- You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required
