Job Summary
Cash Equity Trader, VP leads execution of equity and listed options orders on a global wealth management platform, builds relationships within front office and support areas, and manages start-of-day and end-of-day processes to ensure best execution while mitigating risks. The role requires strong proficiency in equity and options trading, advanced Python coding, Tableau analytics, MS Office, and effective communication; Series 7, 63, and 57 licenses and 7+ years of equity trading experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Series 7, 63 and 57
- Minimum of 7 years of prior experience in equity trading – options trading is a plus
- Strong work ethic, professionalism and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent Analytical skills experience in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Advanced level in coding (Python) and visual analytics platforms (Tableau) is a strong plus
- Experience in best execution analytics in trading (Transaction Cost Analysis)
- Ability to learn J.P. Morgan products, systems and trading tools
- Self-motivation and demonstration of initiative
