CASH AUDIT TECHNICIAN

Ensure cash verification documents comply with legislation and internal policies; maintain relationships with stores to reduce and resolve cash discrepancies. Verify store transactions (exchanges/refunds, tax exemptions, and other actions) to minimize losses from errors and fraud. Act as technical support to store staff; analyze reports for anomalies; ensure registers are balanced at closing and deposits are accounted for; handle gift card requests, deposit slips, and coin orders; follow up with stores to ensure policies are understood and followed to minimize and correct errors. Demonstrates rigor, analytical thinking, service and collaboration with store teams and external partners, integrity, accountability, and organization in managing multiple follow-ups and deadlines.
