Job Summary
Cash Application Specialist handles daily cash application for US, Canada, and Mexico, interfacing with treasury, credit, pricing, and sales to resolve payment discrepancies. Responsibilities include applying customer cash to open AR, clearing bank fees and FX deals, managing journal entries for NA and Europe, processing inter-entity funding, payroll and taxes, automatic SAP payments (PR00/FEBA), maintaining internal controls, and communicating payment issues to credit and leadership. Must resolve unidentified payments before month-end close; requires SAP/ERP experience and 2+ years in cash application or AR reconciliation; strong English and organizational skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP architecture
- Preferred: 2+ years applicable work experience with cash application, accounts receivable, or account reconciliation
- Strong professional English skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
