Job Summary
Cash Applications Specialist at LUX Infusion responsible for day-to-day reconciliation of major medical and pharmacy claims payments for AR, processing ERA/EFT/Lockbox, posting payments and denials, applying EOBs and contractual adjustments, and handling cash transactions with strict HIPAA compliance. Requires high school diploma and 3-5 years in medical/pharmacy cash posting; knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT, revenue cycle, and MS Office; on-site at Plantation, FL and Overland Park, KS. Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in medical/pharmacy setting cash posting
- Knowledge of Medical terminology
- Knowledge of Coding ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT, HER
- Understanding and knowledge of revenue cycle, insurance billing and payment/Banking reconciliation
- Maintains the strictest confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
