Job Summary
Process electronic payments and denials from third-party insurance carriers; post manual payments and insurance denials/remarks; research payment posting issues related to EDI transmissions, clearing house processing, system processing, payer errors, etc.; ensure that all payments and denials are posted in a timely manner; archive and/or file backup data; resolve unapplied and overapplied cash; stay current on company policies and procedures; prepare work reports and projects as assigned; demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, minimum typing of 45 WPM, and touch-type on a 10-key; maintain high attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills; on-site position in Valencia, CA
