Job Summary
Conduct preventive service case management for families from diverse backgrounds, assessing risk and safety while strengthening family functioning and promoting healthy parent-child relationships. Provide parenting skills groups, advocacy, and counseling to address specific needs, maintaining comprehensive documentation including FASP assessments and progress notes. Collaborate with DSS, community agencies, schools, and other service providers to facilitate regular planning conferences and ensure accurate case implementation. Manage a caseload of 1:16 under the guidance of a Program Supervisor, utilizing a family-centered approach to help keep families together.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in human services or related field
- Driver's License
- ability to maintain insurability throughout employment
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish
- Some experience working with children or families in human services or related field
