Job Summary

Provide direct support and advocacy to families of children with developmental disabilities, including assistance with language access, translation, and navigating the IEP process. Connect families to community resources for immigration, healthcare, legal services, and government benefits while coordinating parent support groups. Manage program operations through documentation, reporting, outreach, and staff scheduling, maintaining case notes and submitting required reports. Work with the supervisor to recruit and meet target enrollment numbers. Bilingual in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is required. Applicants must be able to work weekends.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in health or human service-related field from an accredited college
  • 1 year of social service experience
  • Associate's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Capability, knowledge and experience to work with the I/DD population
  • Capability, knowledge and experience to work with clients with disabilities
  • Capability, knowledge and experience to be sensitive to individual needs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong cooperation skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to operate within a team dynamic
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Proficient in basic reading, writing, and verbal English
  • Bilingual in Cantonese and/or Mandarin
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work weekends
