Casework Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee casework functions and supervise direct-service staff serving adults on parole at the new Contra Costa County Day Reporting Center. Monitor treatment methodologies to ensure evidence-based practices are utilized, develop documentation procedures, and implement the Case Management Plan process. Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, supervise screening and referrals, and provide training to Caseworkers and other DRC staff. Review assessments and case documentation for quality and compliance, coordinate quality assurance activities, and collaborate with CDCR, parole agents, and community partners. Support program operations and staff supervision in the absence of the Program Director. Launch program workflows and establish staff training processes to support high-quality service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience supervising casework staff working with justice-involved individuals
- Minimum of six (6) cumulative years of full-time experience as a counselor in a program serving justice-involved populations
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices, including case management, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and rehabilitative service delivery
- Knowledge of screening, assessment, treatment planning, and documentation protocols
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain compliance with CDCR DRP contract requirements and agency policies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systems
- Must be able to successfully complete and pass a DOJ Live Scan background clearance
- Must possess a valid California driver's license with no serious infractions within the past four (4) years
- Must be insurable under the agency's automobile insurance policy
- Must have access to reliable personal transportation for work-related duties
- Must possess current TB clearance and CPR/First Aid Certification or obtain upon hire
