Job Summary
Review work orders, shop drawings, and cut lists to verify parts, dimensions, and drawing revisions before assembly. Assemble cabinet boxes, bases, toe kicks, drawers, doors, and hardware using hand, power, and pneumatic tools in accordance with approved joinery and manufacturer instructions. Measure and inspect completed units for squareness, alignment, finish condition, and conformity to project requirements. Identify defective components, segregate nonconforming work, and record production status in designated systems. Maintain an orderly workstation, follow all safety protocols, and communicate constraints that could affect quality or schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read shop drawings, work orders, cut lists, labels, and basic assembly details
- Ability to use a tape measure and verify dimensions accurately
- Basic shop math and understanding of fractions
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain quality while working to production schedules
- Dependable, team-oriented, and able to communicate problems before they affect downstream operations
- A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company
Desired Qualifications
- Previous cabinet, casework, furniture, fixture, millwork, or manufacturing assembly experience
