Job Summary
Case Worker with EMYS supports young people aged 16–25 experiencing or at risk of homelessness across crisis/transitional accommodation and outreach. Provides trauma-informed psychosocial support, holistic case management (assessment, goal and safety planning, regular plan reviews), intake/eligibility assessments, crisis and outreach support, referrals and advocacy to housing providers, education/employment services, health and mental health supports, and maintains high-quality case records in line with privacy standards. Flexible, on-site and community-based work with a not-for-profit organisation focused on reducing youth homelessness and empowering young people to thrive.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Youth Work, Community Services, Social Welfare, Social Science or related field
Additional Requirements
- National police history check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current driver's licence
- Working with vulnerable people clearance
