Job Summary
Case Worker provides one-hour counselling sessions to individuals under community supervision within a harm-minimisation framework. Responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, developing case formulations and treatment plans, delivering psychosocial interventions, addressing a range of substance use issues, and providing regular progress reports to referring officers. The role operates across Community Corrections offices on Monday to Friday (30.4 hours per fortnight with fixed days), and requires collaboration with district office staff and other agencies. Blue Card and Queensland Corrective Services checks are required.
