Job Summary
Case Worker in Behavioral Health provides intake, crisis intervention, client counseling, and case management across individuals, families and groups. Responsibilities include identifying in-need individuals, connecting clients to services and resources, explaining eligibility rules, developing individualized goals, advocating with other agencies, following funding requirements, documenting services per quality assurance standards, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Requires strong knowledge of crisis intervention, community resources, documentation, and ability to translate and interpret information as needed; preferred fluency in Arabic or Spanish and English proficiency. Requires Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2–3 years in a related field, plus a valid driver’s license. Travel locally may be required; normal business hours with potential on-call expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or closely related field
- 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- QMHP Adults - 5 hours within 90 days after start
- QMHP Children - 24 hours within 90 days after start
