Job Summary
Provide ongoing supervision, training, and development for direct support staff serving disabled adults while managing a caseload of clients. Spend 75% of time face-to-face with clients in the community and 25% on administrative tasks including documentation, auditing, and training. Maintain on-call status Monday through Friday and rotate weekends with the supervisory team to cover all caseload needs. Requires moderate American Sign Language skills, two years experience with I/DD populations, and one year of supervisory and budgetary experience. Licensed to drive in California with a clean record.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ with a high school diploma, GED, or Certificate of Completion
- At least two (2) years experience working with individuals who have Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD population)
- At least one (1) year of supervisory and budgetary/finance experience
- Moderate of above skill level in AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL)
- Must be licensed to drive in California with current auto insurance, vehicle and clean driving record
- Must be available for on-call Monday through Friday
- Must be available for rotating on-call weekend
- Must be willing to spend 75% of time face-to-face with clients
- Must be willing to spend 25% of time on administrative requirements
