Job Summary
Conduct on-site assessments for incoming clients and provide hands-on support for current adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities who exhibit severe behavioral challenges. Supervise direct support staff, develop individualized plans and goals, and ensure agency compliance through documentation and reporting. Spend 75% of time face-to-face with clients in the Sacramento County area while managing administrative duties. Maintain availability as the first point of contact for field staff and clients during the work week, including rotating weekend on-call coverage. Requires a licensed driver with a clean record and two years of experience working with challenging behaviors.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supervising other individuals
- Extensive experience working in the Human Services field
- At least two (2) years experience working with individuals who have Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD population)
- At least one (1) year of supervisory and budgetary/finance experience
- Experience working with challenging behaviors
- Being a licensed and insured driver
- Having a clean driving record
