Case Reviewer

Job Summary
Conduct independent quality reviews of State/Federal programs including SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, and LTC cases to recognize data deficiencies and provide necessary case clean-up. Develop reports and job aids as needed while completing vendor and compliance monitoring assignments. Analyze eligibility cases, state process manuals, and policies to identify processing errors and trends, offering feasible recommendations to improve quality. Attend meetings and contribute to discussions while adapting to shifts in priorities from both client and internal perspectives. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all program guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of eligibility experience with SNAP, TANF, HIP/Medicaid/ LTC, preferably in Indiana
- Understanding of and experience with the ICES, FACTS or SMART systems
- Experience analyzing and identifying case processing errors and trends and provide feasible recommendations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with project staff at all levels
- Capability and willingness to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, shifts in direction and priorities, both from a client and internal perspective
- Ability to read and understand eligibility cases, state process manuals, policies and procedures and basic contract language as needed
- Ability to adapt to change and receive constructive criticism to ensure the highest level of quality
- Ability to demonstrate professional writing skills and required policy knowledge
- Ability to adhere to all points of confidentiality
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Indiana eligibility quality assurance experience a plus
