Job Summary
Manage case records by ensuring confidentiality, safe-keeping, and document maintenance while adhering to HIPAA privacy laws. Compile data for quality improvement audits and ensure all documentation is properly filed prior to scheduled audits or deadlines. Process subpoenas and prepare Letters of Invitation for Semi-Annual Reviews, collecting and compiling data for contract compliance reports. Maintain proficiency in required information systems and perform clerical functions including photocopying, mail distribution, and switchboard coverage. This role supports the Care Management Team in Columbus, Ohio, focusing on accounting and financial duties such as billing audits, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 year's of experience in business, or in a clerical position
- Good typing and filing skills
- Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Good driving record
- Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in records management in a child welfare, or medical setting
