Job Summary
Case Prep/Wash/Inspector prepares, cleans, and inspects heavy-duty truck parts to ensure they meet quality standards before assembly or shipment. Responsibilities include removing packaging and debris, cleaning parts with pressure washers and solvents, conducting thorough defect and wear inspections using measuring tools and visual techniques, recording inspection results, reporting defects to the quality control team, and assisting with corrective actions. Emphasizes safety, PPE use, tool maintenance, and ability to work in a manufacturing/remanufacturing environment with standing, lifting, and operation of various tools and machinery.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning and inspection techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy parts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
