Job Summary
Pick frozen food products accurately using a Bluetooth voice-controlled headset while walking and manually handling cases weighing up to 25kg in a warehouse maintained at approximately -20°C. Record picked quantities using site-specific equipment to maintain accurate stock levels and report any damaged products to the Inventory Team or your Supervisor. Work safely at all times, following site health and safety procedures, with full PPE provided including a freezer coat, salopettes, safety boots, hat, and gloves. Shifts run 3 on 3 off from 06:00-18:00 with overtime paid at time and a half after 39 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Can communicate clearly in English with colleagues and through the Bluetooth voice picking system
- Are comfortable carrying out a physically demanding role, including regular walking, lifting and manual handling
- Lift products weighing up to approximately 18kg - 25kg
- Work safely at all times, following site health and safety procedures
- Take pride in getting things right first time and have a good eye for detail
- Have a positive attitude and work well as part of a team
- Are reliable, hardworking and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy
